Wanted: Medical and non-medical volunteers for Medical Reserve Corps

Interested in making a difference in your community? The Des Plaines Medical Reserve Corps will have a general meeting on 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, and 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Frisbie Senior Center, 52 E. Northwest Hwy.

The group, which consists of mostly medical, but some non- medical volunteers, welcomes those interested in assisting in a community emergency or disaster. Come see what we are about and hear Des Plaines Fire Department Division Chief Pete Dyer present the program “Psychological First Aid for First Responders.”
