Des Plaines Park District honored for financial reporting

The Des Plaines Park District and Don Miletic, superintendent of Business and Golf Operations, recently received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 21st year in a row.

The award is given by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.

“We are very proud of the professionalism of our business department under Don’s leadership,” said John Hecker, executive director, in a news release.
