Please explain your answer.I believe the Clerk should be a elected position so that the voters have a voice in the selection.What steps would you take as village clerk to improve and increase the flow of information to residents?As Clerk ( editor of the village newsletter), I would include in the newsletter as much useful vital information as possible, better utilize the village website facebook page to pass along information and most of all, work to establish the Clerk's office as the place residents would respect contact knowing they would get accurate information.If you are a newcomer, what prompted you to run for village clerk? If you're an incumbent, list your accomplishments or key initiatives in which you played a leadership role.I have led residentail recycling efforts throughout the village for several years.I led the electrical aggregation effort in the village. As a Trustee,volunteered to clean up,organize work with the State Archives Dept. dealing with decades of village document backlong.I organize the village Memorial Day event. Arbor Day event,and holiday food/gift drive.
