Barrington subdues South Elgin

Barrington’s Brad Zaumseil drained three 3s and finished with a game-high 21 points as the Broncos topped visiting South Elgin 64-45 in nonconference play Monday.

Zach Bart had 14 points for Barrington (15-11).

The Broncos led 24-15 at the half before producing 29 points in the third quarter to take command.

Leyden 59, Hoffman Estates 34: The host Eagles earned a nonconference win over the Hawks.
