MHS singers win big

Mundelein Lights, Mundelein High School's all-female show choir, was named Grand Champions at the Manteno Main Event Show Choir Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 9. Second place went to Waubonsie Valley High School's Women's Choir, while third place was awarded to Mundelein High's all-male show choir, SoundFX. Charity Moody of Mundelein Lights was named Best Female Vocalist. In addition, the Mundelein Sound Show Choir won third place in the Mixed Division and the MHS Show Choir Band was named Outstanding Instrumental Ensemble in both divisions.
