Des Plaines Senior Corps Police & Fire visit Brentwood School

Des Plaines Brentwood School, 260 W. Dulles Road, was visited last week by recent graduates of the Des Plaines Police Department's Senior Citizen Police Academy and now members of the Senior Corps Police & Fire.

Accompanied by the Des Plaines Police Department's Citizen Action Team (CAT) Officer Colin Johnson and Brentwood Principal Wendy Allen, the group was divided into several classrooms where they read books to the school children.

Having successfully fulfilled the twelve week Senior Citizen Police Academy, the senior group volunteered to become members of the Des Plaines Senior Corps Police & Fire.

The Senior Corps Police & Fire is a group of trained volunteers who provide the Police and Fire Department with non-operational support and perform various community related activities.
