Explore the winter world of snow and ice at Schaumburg's very own log cabin.

Schaumburg Park District will offer the free all ages program, Winter Explorers: Snow and Ice, from noon to 4 p.m., Feb. 10 at Spring Valley's Merkle Cabin, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road. Participants will enjoy experiments, games and activities using snow and ice.

Parking is available at Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road.
