Schaumburg Park District plans off leash dog park

The Schaumburg Park District plans to build an off-leash dog park at Copley Park, 120 E. State Parkway, Schaumburg. An informational meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Nov. 27 in the Community Recreation Center Senior Room, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

The plan for the dog park includes a parking lot, two separate areas for dogs, pathways, benches, a shelter, water access and drinking fountains. Construction is scheduled for summer 2013 with completion by late summer or early fall.
