Schaumburg Park District theatre to perform "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"
Schaumburg Park District will be taken over by the Herdman kids this November!
The District’s theater program will perform "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" at 7 p.m., Nov. 9 and 10, and 2 p.m., Nov. 11 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.
“The story of Christmas comes to life with a twist in the play,” said Beth Waller, the District’s cultural arts supervisor. “The show is sure to delight the whole family.”
In this play, the director of the church Christmas pageant must decide what to do when the worst kids in town tryout for the show. The Herdman kids, a rowdy, terrorizing bunch of unruly children, test the patience of everyone involved with the pageant. This funny and heartwarming story shows what can happen when the Herdman kids collide with Christmas head on.
Tickets are $11 for ages 13 years and older, and $6 for children. Children under age 2 are free if held.
