Pickleball available for seniors at Schaumburg Park District's Sport Center

Pop-in for exercise and friendly competition at the Sport Center!

Schaumburg Park District’s Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road, will host pop-in pickleball for adults ages 50 and older from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 5 to May 30.

Pickleball, a combination of ping pong, tennis and badminton, is a competitive game for experienced players using wood and graphite paddles and unique plastic balls. This senior sensation is easy to learn, provides plenty of exercise and is played on a badminton court.

The daily fee is $5 per person.

There is no play May 16.
