Breast cancer awareness event coming to Cary

Even in a slow economy, generous donations are coming in for a great cause, the 3rd Annual “Save the Girls” luncheon, fashion show, silent auction, raffle being held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday Oct. 14 at The Clubhouse at Cary Country Club, 2400 Grove Lane, Cary.

Businesses in several towns, including Barrington, Palatine, Lake Zurich, Wauconda and Cary have been generous supporters of the breast cancer awareness event.
