Compete in the Halloween House Decorating Contest

Decorate your home to be the scariest in Schaumburg and showcase it in Schaumburg Park District's annual Halloween House Decorating Contest.

The first 10 houses entered will be judged. Houses will be judged on originality, arrangement, theme and overall design.

Judging will take place the evening of Oct. 22 during the Halloween House Decorating Tour.

Winning entrants will be listed on the Schaumburg Park District cable channel and featured on parkfun.com.

Houses must be within Schaumburg Park District boundaries and decorated before Oct. 22.

Entry forms are available on parkfun.com and in the District's fall program guide.

Forms are due by 9 p.m., Oct. 18 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.
