Ride for free through Safety Park with a food donation Oct. 14
Warm up by pedaling through Safety Park!
Schaumburg Park District will hold Food for Fun from 1 to 3 p.m., Oct. 14 at Ken Alley Safety Park, 421 N. Springinsguth Road.
Children ages 42 months to 5 years old will receive free admittance to an afternoon of open riding at Safety Park in exchange for a canned good or non-perishable food item. Participants who bring a second donation per person will receive a ticket to ride the 18-passenger trackless train. All donations will be made to the Schaumburg Food Pantry.
Participants may bring bikes or use Safety Park's big wheels. All riders must wear a helmet and gym shoes. Parent must attend with child.
