Howl-O-Ween Pooch Parade for pups returns to Meineke Park Oct. 13

Get your pup in the Halloween spirit!

Schaumburg Park District's Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way, will host the annual Howl-O-Ween Pooch Parade from noon to 2 p.m., Oct. 13.

Dogs are encouraged to come dressed to impress in their Halloween costume and be ready to be judged for the most unique get-up. Dog friendly activities include a dog agility course, fun tricks competition, a pooch parade and an area for free play. The first 50 dogs will receive a special Halloween treat.

All dogs must have current shots. Records must be attached to the registration form or brought to Meineke Recreation Center.

The fee for residents is $2 per person and $5 per dog. The fee for non-residents is $3 per person and $7 per dog.
