Addison Regional Center Celebrates 30 Years of Educational Excellence

The College of DuPage Addison Regional Center is celebrating 30 years of educational excellence with an Open House on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 1 to 4 p.m. at its 301 S. Swift Road location in Addison (northeast corner of the Technology Center of DuPage building).

“We are very proud of our presence in Addison,” said Diane McHugh, manager of the Addison Center. “This Open House is an opportunity to celebrate our dedication to the community and their support of us. We also want to invite people who have not been to the Addison Center to make them aware of the programs and services available in their community.”

The Open House will highlight COD's educational programs and the Addison Center facility with breakout sessions featuring representatives from Admission and Outreach as well as Counseling and Advising, who will discuss how to get started at COD, select a major and choose classes; Financial Aid, who will review payment options for tuition; Adult Fast Track, who will address how the AFT program can fit into busy schedules; and health career programs, who will also provide blood pressure screenings.

In addition, representatives from COD's new Truck Driving School will discuss program requirements and job opportunities. COD's Jazz Ensemble will provide music and refreshments will be served.
