Schaumburg Park District plans new event for third-, fourth- graders

Enjoy a night out before a day off school!

Schaumburg Park District will hold Sunday Night Funday Night for third- and fourth-graders from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 7 and Nov. 4 at Bock Neighborhood Center, 1223 W. Sharon Lane.

Participants ages 8 to 11 will enjoy pizza, drinks, games, Wii, music and a movie.

“The new event is a great way for children to maximize their three day weekend,” said George Grey, manager of Bock Neighborhood Center.

Pre-registration is required. Registration is available at parkfun.com and District registration facilities. Cost per event date is $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents.
