Spring Valley hosts free monarch butterfly program on Sept. 5

Fly over to Spring Valley for an evening dedicated to butterflies.

Schaumburg Park District will hold Monarch Mysteries, a free all ages program, at 7:30 p.m., Sept. 5 at Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road.

Monarch butterfly expert Charlene Brightwell will share her knowledge with guests. Participants will discover the natural history of monarch butterflies, explore their amazing migratory habits and look into the mystery of their 2,000 mile flight.
