Norge Ski Club of Fox River Grove to host summer family fest

The Norge Ski Club, teamed up with the Rotary Club of Cary-Grove, will host the Mid-Summer Family Fest, including a concert at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 by the Beatles tribute band American English.

Also part of the festival will be performances by acoustic artist Claire Kelly, the 1970s band, The Forty-Fives and a performance by Cary’s own The Sage Band.

Gates open at 3 p.m. There will be food and beverage served at the Norge concession stand as well as at the Norge bar. Face painting, a bouncy house and temporary tattoos will provide entertainment for the little ones.

Ticket prices are $10 in advance at many local area merchants and $15 at the gate. Kids 12 and younger are free.

Norge Ski Club is at 100 Ski Hill Road, just a few blocks off Route 14 and School Street in Fox River Grove. For more information regarding pre-sale buttons, call (847) 639-4140.
