Deerfield Park Board of Commissioners Seeks Applicants for Recreation Advisory Committee

Deerfield Park District

The Deerfield Park District currently has openings on the Recreation Advisory Committee. Involvement on an Advisory Committee provides a meaningful opportunity for residents to get involved for the benefit of their community, without needing to run for elected office.

Formed in 2009 and timed with the grand opening of the Sachs Recreation Center, a new Recreation Advisory Committee was formed. The Recreation Center Advisory Committee works with staff and the Board on programming, scheduling, revenue sources, and facility needs for the Sachs Recreation Center.

Applications are available on our website and at the following Deerfield Park District facilities: Jewett Park Community Center, 836 Jewett Park Drive, Deerfield and Sachs Recreation Center, 455 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield.
