Patty Turner Center To Recognize Jim Mikulski

On Tuesday morning, July 3, 2012, the Patty Turner Center Men's Group will pay tribute to Dr. James J. Mikulski, Ph.D., a member of the group and pioneer in the development of cellular telephones.

Born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago, Dr. Mikulski graduated from Fournier Academy in Lemont, Fournier Institute of Technology (BSEE – 1955), CalTec (BSME – 1956), and the University of Illinois – Champaign (PhD EE – 1959).... The Patty Turner Center Men's Group meets every Tuesday morning 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. for camaraderie and presentations by authorities on various topics of broad interest. The Patty Turner Center is located at 375 Elm Street in Deerfield. Guests are welcome!
