Fox Valley Rep welcomes new production manager

Cassius Wright of Paris, Ill., recently joined Fox Valley Rep as their new production manager. With a successful history of operating over 1,200 live performances, festivals, and events, Cassius looks forward to working closely with the FVR team. As the new overseer of all Mainstage and Performing Arts Academy productions, he hopes to continue their long tradition of bringing excellence in theater to the greater Fox River Valley.

When asked about the draw of working with this company, he remarked, “Fox Valley Rep has a growing reputation as a go-to for high-caliber productions, so for me, artistic integrity was a major factor. Of course, joining a company during a period of sensational growth and development is fantastic as well, because it allows me to put my efforts towards a common goal with the rest of the management team.” Two of these goals that he's excited to tackle are the upcoming productions of Sirens, opening August 16, and The Woman in Black, opening October 12.

Cassius succeeds former production manager, Tim Stadler. Tim began working with FVR in October, 2009, having previously been production manager at Apple Tree Theatre in Highland Park, Illinois. Tim recently joined the Theater Conservatory of Roosevelt University in Chicago as their production and facilities manager.

Fox Valley Repertory at Pheasant Run Resort is located at 4051 E. Main St., St. Charles. Additional theater information may be obtained at www.foxvalleyrep.org.
