Summer solstice celebrated at new family event
Celebrate the first day of summer in style at the Schaumburg Park District.
The Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, will host the Summer Solstice Celebration, a new summer event from 6 to 8 p.m., June 20. This special celebration held in honor of the longest day of the year features popcorn, ice cream, volleyball, bingo, crafts and games for all ages.
Admission is $5 for residents and $7 for non-residents. Children under age 3 are free.
