Housing and Hiring Our Heroes

Deerfield based, United Relief Foundation has launched www.HousingAndHiringOurHeroes.org to serve as an online Lifeline for military Veterans.

By providing military Veterans a convenient “hub” of information for housing, employment, training and help, HousingAndHiringOurHeroes.org will aid the Foundation's efforts in breaking the cycle of hopelessness and ending homelessness among military Veterans by turning well-meaning words and intentions into tangible deeds and actions.

“Our Patriotic Spirit, Love for Our Country and Respect for Our Men and Women in Uniform combined with Our Will and Ability to turn our well meaning words and intentions into tangible deeds and action is providing the force required to break the cycle of hopelessness and ending homelessness among military Veterans,” comments United Relief Foundation president Frank Salato. “You have my promise that in return for your time you will receive a rewarding personal experience and my pledge that you will know how your money, goods or in-kind donation is being used to Make Noticeable, Lasting and Life-Changing Differences.”

The National Alliance to End Homelessness and U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report “veterans comprise 11 percent of the homeless population” and “the jobless rate for all veterans is 8.3 percent, respectfully.”

The statistics of the existing and growing number of military Veterans in need are tragically staggering. However, for every Veteran and military family we help in their time of need we lower the number in despair and raise the tide of hope for many more.

The United Relief Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer driven humanitarian organization founded in 2006 to provide compassion, comfort and care to ease human suffering anywhere within the United States.
