Fill summer evenings with free activities in neighborhood parks

Children can enjoy summer evenings at Schaumburg parks.

Schaumburg Park District will offer the free LATER program this summer at Brandenburg Park, 600 N. Knollwood Drive, and Timbercrest Park, 120 W. Beech Drive, beginning June 11. Camp counselors will lead youth ages 6 to 17 in group games, sports and crafts from 5:30 to 9 p.m., Monday to Friday until July 27. The first week will start on a Tuesday.

Every Friday evening LATER session will have a special theme. Parent or guardian must complete forms the first night child attends the program. Additional camp information is available the first night at each site. This free program requires no registration.
