Kaela Bryant added a solo homer, while Jamie Dykstra, winning pitcher Taylor Dishinger and Marissa Thackston each had a pair of hits for the Eagles.

Carmel 16, Highland Park 2: Call-up Mia Dicara went 3-for-3 and allowed 2 runs over 4 innings to earn the win.

Kelley Dodge and Amy Abel each homered and knocked in 3 runs for Carmel. Abel, Skyler Zak, Sam Melillo, Kathleen Felicelli and Madeline Felipez added 2 hits apiece for the Corsairs. Madi DeMarco, Zak and Felipez all doubled.

Lake Zurich 5, Jacobs 1: Kasey Roe (2 RBI), Christina Sandstedt and winning pitcher Shannon McPeek each had a pair of hits for the Bears in the nonconference game.

Mallory Parsons added a double for Lake Zurich (22-8), and Maria Schroeder contributed a single, 2 RBI, a stolen base, sacrifice and run scored. McPeek went the distance in the circle for her 19th win.

Grayslake North 10, Woodstock 0: Nikki Livengood pitched the shutout for the host Knights.

New Trier 3, Mundelein 0: Alex Hemmer had the only hit for the Mustangs against Trevians pitcher Allison Quigley, who struck out 10.
