Keep cool this summer at Schaumburg Park District pools

Have a splashing good time at Schaumburg Park District's outdoor pools.

Meineke Pool, 220 E. Weathersfield Way, will be open weekends beginning May 26. Summer pool hours will begin June 4. Meineke Pool features water and drop slides, a 50-meter Olympic pool, separate diving well, water playground and swim lessons.

Bock Pool, 1223 W. Sharon Lane, and Atcher Island, 730 S. Springinsguth Road, will open for the summer June 4. The tropical themed Atcher Island features water and bowl slides, a wading pool, sprayground and concessions stand while Bock Pool is home to a wading pool, diving area, children's slide and swim lessons.

Admission is by membership or daily use fee. Pool memberships are now available for residents. Non-resident pool pass memberships are available beginning May 14. Atcher Island daily use resident fee is $5 for youth and $7 for adults, and non-resident fee is $7 for youth and $9 for adults. Bock and Meineke pools daily use resident fee is $4 for youth and $5 for adults, and non-resident fee is $5 for youth and $6 for adults.
