Elk Grove doubles team makes state

Elk Grove’s Taylor and Sam Marquardt finished third in Friday’s Glenbard West badminton sectional to qualify for next weekend’s state meet at Eastern Illinois University. The Marquardts won their third-place match 22-20 and 21-15.

Gymnastics: Leyden’s Jethro De Los Reyes finished fifth on the still rings in the Downers Grove North sectional to qualify for next weekend’s state meet.
