Margaret Haws belted a grand slam, and Nicole Kruckman and Calley Kaluzny also homered, as Libertyville’s softball team beat Round Lake 21-0 in a North Suburban Conference crossover Thursday.

Emilie Teitz struck out 14 and walked one in earning the win.

Antioch 9, Mundelein 4: Antioch scored 3 runs in the third inning on doubles by Kaylene Ressler, Katie Keefe and Amber Mysliwiec and never looked back to defeat the Mustangs in the North Suburban crossover.

The Sequoits (16-11) also had extra-base hits by winning pitcher Katie Phillips, who doubled and struck out six. Jessica Tyrell hit a triple in the sixth.

Hailey Morelli put runs on the board for Mundelein with a solo home run in the fourth, and Alex Hemmer added a 2-run home run in the sixth.

Vernon Hills 3, Stevenson 1: Jordyn Comitor’s 2-run double led by Cougars and helped improve their record to 17-8 in the North Suburban crossover.

The Patriots’ offensive leaders were Lara Horwitz, who went 2-for-4, and Ali Castriano, who hit 3-for-3. Morgan Manka earned the lone RBI for Stevenson.

Lake Zurich 15, Lakes 2 (5 inn.): The Bears were led offensively by Maria Schroeder, who went 4-for-4 with a double, triple and 3 RBI. Mallory Parsons went 3-for-4, adding a double, home run and 2 RBI for Lake Zurich (18-8).

Shannon McPeek got the win in the circle.

Warren 25, North Chicago 0 (5 inn.): Hayley Roane slapped 3 singles and had 4 RBI for Warren (23-4-1).

Megan Sowa belted a 2-run homer and also doubled. Warren also got contributions from Kelli Layton, who added 2 singles, and Jana Wagner, who doubled, tripled and drove in 3 runs.

Benet 7, Carmel 4: Kelley Dodge was 3-for-3 and scored twice for the Corsairs in their East Suburban Catholic Conference loss.

Carmel also got a 2-hit game from Jenny Behan.

Grayslake Central 5, Johnsburg 4: Claire Brennan, who homered earlier, had a walk-off single in the seventh inning for the host Rams.

The senior went 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored, 2 RBI and a stolen base. Sarah Kuligowski was 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and a run.

Grayslake Central also got a game-saving catch from center fielder Kati Brew in the top of the seventh. In the bottom of the frame, Kuligowski singled with one out and stopped at second on Jamie Brew’s base hit. Brennan then drilled a single to right field to score Kuligowski.

Grayslake North 5, Hampshire 3: Kristina Gandy went 4-for-4 with 3 RBI and earned the win in the Fox Valley Fox contest.

The Knights also got hits from Brook Tracy, Nikki Livengood (RBI), Kaley Buchman and Courtney Peterson.
