Schaumburg Park District offers employee fitness walk May 16

Take a break from the work day with the Schaumburg Park District.

In celebration of National Employee Health and Fitness Day, the District will hold the 23rd Annual Employee Fitness Walk from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 16 at the Woodfield Lake Office Campus, 1100 E. Woodfield Road.

The event will include a one-mile scenic walk around the campus pond, free raffle prizes, health information, and a delicious lunch provided by Sporty's Catering. Musical entertainment will be provided by 104.3 K-Hits Chicago. The event is hosted by McKnight Property Management, and sponsored by Alexian Brothers Health System and Dick Pond Athletics.

Cost is $10 for individual walkers though May 9. After May 10, cost is $15 for individual walkers. Pre-registration is encouraged.
