Fremd’s girls water polo team stayed perfect against Mid-Suburban West competition with a 15-5 victory over visiting Conant on Tuesday.
Sam del Prado led the way for the Vikings (15-2, 6-0) with 4 goals; Lauren Zambelli had 3 and Emma Hoffman had 2.
Barrington 11, Hoffman Estates 7: Reagan Desatti, Sam Gavars and Kayla Widdowson had 2 goals apiece to help the host Fillies improve to 12-1 overall and 5-1 in the Mid-Suburban West, 1 game behind division leader Fremd. Barrington led 11-2 after the third quarter before Hoffman Estates (3-17, 0-6) scored 5 unanswered goals in the fourth.
Maine West 8, Deer Park 7: Carly Romano had 4 goals and an assist, Amy Nakano scored 3 goals and Shannon O’Hagan had 3 steals as the visiting Warriors won against the Deerfield/Highland Park co-op team. Amy Maciejewski and Emily Morrison shared hole defense; Morrison scored 1 goals and had 2 assists.
Wheeling 15, Rolling Meadows 1: Kat Dobrowski, Heather Murphy and Leah Malsom each scored 4 times to keep the MSL East-leading Wildcats (8-2, 6-0) unbeaten in divisional play.
