Mundelein High School hosts 19th annual student art show

Mundelein High School’s art department will host its 19th annual All-Student Art Show reception and viewing.

The event is set for Wednesday, April 11, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and Thursday, April 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event is free and will take place in the main gym at the school at 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein.

The exhibit will feature artwork done by all students enrolled in art classes during the current school year who completed exhibit-worthy work.

The show is organized by the art department faculty, including Debra Fitzsimmons, Bonnie Sargent, David Mork and Katie Hyken.

All art disciplines taught at Mundelein High will be represented, including drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry and metal design, computer graphic design and photography.
