Judy Garland was one of the world's most beloved singers and actresses with a career that spanned five decades from the 1920's to the 1960's. She began performing at two years of age on vaudeville stages with two sisters, then went on to a solo singing and acting career, starring in "The Wizard of Oz" at the age of 16 in 1939. It was in that movie that she sang "Over the Rainbow," a song that would be identified with her for the rest of her life.
