Vote yes, for future of park district

I am voting “yes” for the Arlington Heights Park District because the economy looks like it’s getting back on track and we should invest in our town’s future now. From everything I’ve heard the people at the park district worked very hard in the last few years to meet with residents and find out what “We the People” want.

I’m most excited about the idea of new walking tracks at Frontier and the other centers. In recent years there haven’t been that many reasonable options for indoor walking during the winter months. Even better, if we all vote “yes” the park district will be able to add a second path around Lake Arlington to separate bikers and walkers. That makes things safer all the way around.

But the park district didn’t just think about people who walk for fun and exercise. If we vote “yes” there will also be a lot of family friendly activities like better gyms and new soccer and ball fields.

Where else can all that be accomplished for $36 a year? That’s only $3 a month!

I am a “yes” voter for the parks and I urge all my neighbors to vote “yes” too!
