Des Plaines Park District Annual Easter Egg Hunts

The Des Plaines Park District is sponsoring free Easter Egg Hunts for all children ages 2-12. On Friday, March 30, 8:00pm, at the Administrative and Leisure Center, children ages 7-12 are invited to the annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt starts in the south parking lot, at 2222 Birch Street. Children should bring a flashlight and a bag or basket to hold the goodies they collect. Free parking is available in the north parking lot.

On Saturday, March 31, children ages 2-3 can hunt for goodies throughout Prairie Lakes Park beginning at 10:00am sharp. The Easter Egg hunt for children ages 4-6 follows at 10:30am. Children should bring a bag or basket to hold their treats. The Easter Bunny will be in the park, so parents are reminded to bring their cameras. Prairie Lakes Park is located at 515 E. Thacker St. The hunts take place rain or shine.
