Bathroom signs at school are outdated

Last week, Wednesday the 15th, I was at Rolling Meadows High School for a three-school symphony concert.

Great music. But then I saw a case of discrimination: The restrooms are marked “Women” and “Boys.”

Why “Boys” and not “Men?” After all these young men are all beyond the age of bar mitzvah. Don’t they deserve the respect that the Rolling Meadows High School motto portrays?
