Mundelein High students earn Mustang Pride awards

Seven Mundelein High School students earned Mustang Pride awards, which were presented at a breakfast Nov. 22. The honorees and their families were the guests at the event hosted by Principal Lauren Fagel.

Social Studies instructor Stacey Darcy nominated three students for Service to Others and Leadership. They are: Elvia Cortez, Leticia Salgado and Maria Dolores.

Special Education instructor Sandy Weir nominated three students as well: Melissa Herrera for Academic Persistence, Salma Sanchez for Integrity and Leadership and Yuri Trinidad for Academic Improvement.

Adam Gohr, instrumental music director, nominated Andrew Westgate for Service to Others and Unsolicited Good Deeds.

Mustang Pride awards are presented each month to students who demonstrate first class behaviors or services to others.
