The championship game is set for 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22.

Hoops for Heroes: Crystal Lake South will be holding a Hoops for Heroes Day on Saturday when the Gators host crosstown rival Crystal Lake Central in boys and girls basketball. The freshman, sophomore and varsity teams will alternate playing throughout the day with the freshman boys game at 11 a.m. The varsity girls play at 3:30 p.m. and the varsity boys at 5 p.m. The event will raise money for The Charity Stripe, which donates funds for charitable recipients who are experiencing financial and/or emotional hardship due to military service.
