Elgin Genealogical Society annual meeting, lunch Dec. 6

The Elgin Genealogical Society will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, in the first-floor meeting room of Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave. in Elgin.

After a brief meeting and election of 2012 officers, the Holiday Luncheon will take place at Villa Olivia on Route 20/Lake Street.

No evening meeting will be held in December. The next meeting will be Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. Elgin Genealogical Society president Judy Van Dusen will facilitate "Genealogy Resolutions plus Fun and Games." Visit the genealogical society's website for further information at www.elginroots.com.
