Stevenson High raises money for special needs theater

Stevenson High School fine arts division’s annual 24-Hour Theatre Project raised $1,215 for the Special Gifts Theatre in Northbrook.

The project began Nov. 10 when students convened to write a new script, Stevenson officials said. It culminated the next day with its performance. More than 70 students participated in the project.

Special Gifts Theatre is a not-for-profit organization that provides children and teens with special physical, cognitive, emotional and learning needs with the opportunity to participate in the arts.
