Top players: Nick Czarnowski, so. C; Bryce Kirk, sr., G; Kevin Linne, sr., G; Ian Lewandowski, sr., G; David Haywood, sr., F; Ryan Antony, so., G; Austin Pauga, so., F; Mike Blaszczyk, jr., G-F; Josh McMillan, sr., F; Mike Gruenthal, sr., F; Mike Groves, sr., F; Nick Lopez, jr., G.
Scouting report: A nice mix of sophomore youth and senior experience combines to give the Redhawks an interesting lineup. Linne, Kirk and Lewandowski each played at least 20 games last year, while the 6-foot-8 Czarnowski averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds as a freshman. He’s joined by two other sophomores in Antony, a point guard, and Pauga, a good 3-point shooter. The mix of talent will allow the Redhawks to show many different looks to opponents. “We’ve got good senior leadership,” Kramer said. “The key is how fast the younger guys can develop.” The Redhawks may not have a go-to guy, but their balance could be even better.
