Village of Libertyville and the Libertyville Sports Complex Veterans Day Weekend “Thank You” to Veterans

Veterans Day is Friday November 11 and the Village of Libertyville and the Libertyville Sports Complex will be saying ‘thank you' to our military Veterans during the Veterans Day Weekend of November 11-13, with special “thank you privileges” at the Libertyville Sports Complex facilities.

Any day during the Veterans Day Weekend, Veterans will be able to have free one-day usage of the Sports Complex Fitness Center and Fitness Classes. They will also have free one-day admission for Open Gym and Mountain Climbing use during the Veterans Day Weekend. Additionally, at the Sports Complex Driving Range, Veterans will be provided with a free bucket of balls or 60 minutes use of unlimited range balls at one of the automated, heated tee stations.

“It is our way of saying ‘thank you' to our Veterans”, said Terry Weppler, Mayor of the Village of Libertyville. “As is stated often, and needs to be repeated often, we are indebted to those who have served our country.”

In its 9th year of operation, the Libertyville Sports Complex (www.libertyvillesportscomplex.com), located at the corner of Peterson Road and Route 45 on the northwest side of Libertyville, features a Fitness Center, Indoor Events Center, Softball Field, Kinder Korner pre-school, and Golf Driving Range.
