Annual Stevenson online auction features 140+ items

The second annual Stevenson High School Online Auction will be held from 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28 through 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7.

The auction by the Stevenson High School Foundation is a collaborative partnership with the Band and Color Guard Parents Organization, Bravo! theater boosters, Choral Guild, National Honor Society, Orchestra Parents Association, Patriot Parent Association, Special Education Community Board and Sports Boosters. Auction proceeds will benefit each of the groups' essential support of student needs and activities.

There will be a banner placed on the SHS home page at www.d125.org during the duration of the 10-day auction, and users can click on it to reach the auction location.

More than 140 auction items are available, including vacation experiences, sports and concert tickets, dining opportunities, valuable merchandise and services, Stevenson-related items, artwork and more. Specific items scheduled for the auction include these vacation experiences:

* Sports Fan Getaway: choice of any NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, golf or college football regular season game with hotel and round-trip airfare for two.

* Travel Adventure Getaway: choice of kayaking, mountain/city biking, horseback riding, etc. with two-night hotel stay and round-trip airfare for two.

* Stress Buster Getaway: $1,000 in spa treatments from your choice of more than 4,000 spas around the United States. Includes three nights in a hotel and round-trip airfare for two.

* Utah Ski Vacation Getaway: Four nights in a private two-bedroom condominium minutes from some of the best skiing, hiking and fishing in the state. Skiers will be close to Snow Basin, one of the venues used in the 2002 Winter Olympics, as well as Powder Mountain.

The auction also will feature Rolling Stones concert/group photos signed by Keith Richards; and lunch with District 125 Superintendent Eric Twadell and Assistant Superintendent for Business Mark Michelini.
