Multi-Chamber Business Roundup & Taste Oct. 6

Roundup Your Team and c'mon out to the Fall Business Roundup & Taste EXPO from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Lake County Fairgrounds (inside), Route 137/Midlothian Road, Grayslake.

This mega business networking event will allow companies to locate local products, services & resources, network with area business leaders, taste food samples from local eateries, gather ideas for their next business event from the “Taste” vendors, as well as hear a keynote presentation by top business leader Craig Culver, CEO and co-founder of Culvers.

The event features 60-plus vendors including business services, financial, health and wellness, community groups, and others.

At 2:30 p.m., keynote speaker Craig Culver will share how he took a vision and created a niche market restaurant, featuring butter burgers and frozen custard, and how he grew the business through commitment to doing what's right for guests, team members, franchisees and family.

A variety of food samples and beverages also will be available from area eateries throughout the day. Numerous raffle prizes provided by local businesses are another special feature, with drawings held every hour. Many vendors will be offering show specials, raffle prizes, and giveaways at their booth as well. The first 1,000 visitors will receive a free raffle ticket.

Event admission is free with business card.

The Business Roundup & Taste EXPO is presented by Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills (GLMV), Fox Lake, Grayslake, Lake County, Lake Zurich, Lincolnshire, and Wauconda Area Chambers of Commerce. Event sponsors include: Comcast Business Services, Qdoba Mexican Grill, BankFinancial, Progressive Energy/Direct Energy.
