Dist. 211 honored with service award

At its Thursday, Sept. 8, board of education meeting, High School District 211 was presented an award recognizing its exemplary service for homeless students.

Of the 45 school districts served by North Cook Intermediate Service Center, District 211 was recognized as the best school district for removing barriers and providing services for homeless students and their families.

North Cook Executive Director Bob Ingraffia and McKinney-Vento Student Advocate for North Cook Intermediate Service Center Dr. Thomas Bookler presented the award to District 211 Board President Robert LeFevre Jr.
