Hawk Hustle 5K to raise money for athletics

Hoffman Estates High School will hosts its inaugural Hawk Homecoming Hustle 5K walk/run on Sunday, Sept. 25, to support the athletic department’s purchase of uniforms and equipment, leadership camp attendance for student-athletes, and to defray travel expenses for student-athletes advancing to regional and state competitions.

Registration will be from 6:30-7:30 a.m. Sept. 25, with the race beginning at 8 a.m. behind the school. The route through Hoffman Estates.

The first 300 to register will receive a free T-shirt. Awards will be given to both male and female first-place finishers, along with a prize raffle following the race.

Entry fee is $25; $10 for high school students and H.E.H.S. alumni now in college; under 12 free. Strollers are welcome, and the event will be held rain or shine. Water will be provided along the course.
