Assisting Hands to cosponsor Continuing Education program
Naperville-based Assisting Hands® Home Care on Aug. 5, 2011 is cosponsoring a continuing education program for nurses and social workers at the Marion Joy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton. The program begins at 11 a.m. and is cosponsored by Extended Home Living services, Inc.
The program will be highlighted by a presentation entitled “Customer Service is King” given by Mardy Chizek, the president of Charism Elder Care Services, a Westmont-based company that specializes in taking families through every facet of eldercare.
“According to the National Institute on Aging, by the year 2015, 25 million U.S. residents will be between the age of 65 and 74. As the baby boomer generation continues to age, it is important that health professionals dealing with eldercare have the most up-to-date information on eldercare options,” said Richard Ueberfluss, president of Assisting Hands Home Care-Naperville.
