FlyDogs wow Palatine crowd with aerial stunts

The FlyDogs entertained children and parents alike Wednesday during a high-flying performance at the Palatine Park District's Community Center Gym.

The Aurora-based canine troupe's show included agility displays, tricks, spinning, Frisbee catching and even dancing.

As part of the event, spectators were encouraged to bring in cans or small bags of food or soft toys for homeless dogs cared for by the Young at Heart Pet Rescue.

the show initially was planned to be held outdoors, but moved inside because of Wednesday's hot temperatures.
