Thanks to all who made Relay a success

On behalf of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Lake Zurich/Wauconda/Island Lake committee, I would like to say “Wow!”

Thanks to your support, Relay For Life of Lake Zurich/Wauconda/Island Lake had 40 teams participate, celebrated alongside more than 60 survivors and caregivers and watched as nearly 400 luminaria were lit to honor loved ones. In addition, we raised more than $126,000 to help in the fight against cancer.

It takes so many individuals to make Relay a success. We are grateful for the cancer survivors and caregivers who walked alongside us to inspire hope and strength; for our event sponsors whose generous support helps make the event possible; and for the amazing volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure this event was a success. Relay For Life would not be possible without all of this effort and support.
