Trinity Lutheran celebrates successful VBS week

Trinity Lutheran Church in Huntley, recently wrapped up a great vacation Bible School week. This year's theme was "Hometown Nazareth, Where Jesus Was a Boy."

Throughout the week, 132 children in kindergarten through sixth grade spent time singing, creating beautiful crafts, participating in fun outdoor activities and visiting with "Mary", the mother of Jesus, where she share stories about the young Jesus.

A great time was had by all! To celebrate the end of a fun week, all the kids and their families were invited to sing VBS songs at a special Sunday service, followed by a carnival.

All are welcome to join us for worship. Summer services are Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. and Sundays at 8 and 9:30 a.m. Childcare is available during the 9:30 a.m. service in the education wing.
