Hate speech comes from left, too

I’d like to remind Fence Post writer Paul Dombrowski of Mt. Prospect of the shooting of Rep. Giffords in Arizona. Remember that? Immediately after she was shot, there was a call, most loudly from the left, to tone down “hate speech.”

After reading your letter, Paul, I must assume that either you didn’t get the memo or you ignored it.

Also, you should know that those on the right could make virtually the same argument you did, Paul, only aimed in the opposite direction. Why would your opinion be any more valid than one from the right?

You ended your letter with, “President Obama was born in Hawaii. Period.”

I’d like to believe that, Paul, but I don’t have your blind faith. President Obama may very well have been born there, but you cannot tell from the birth certificates he’s made public — they both contain “kerning,” something that wasn’t developed until PCs came into use along with their word processor programs, which was years after the president was born.

Why he keeps releasing such easily refuted documents is beyond me; all he has to do to put this to rest is release his official, original birth certificate. Maybe he wants to wait until closer to the election. He could cause some real embarrassment to his opponents at that time and likely gather in a lot more votes. In the meantime, he’s just feeding the doubts of those who think he was born elsewhere.

Lastly, regarding your question, “When is it going to trickle down?” Not until you guys on the left realize that you cannot spend the nation into prosperity, no matter how high you raise taxes, nor on whom you raise them.
